Means of Acquiring Land in Nigeria

A person may acquire land in Nigeria through any of the following means;

1.      For Family land under customary law: by conquest, laches and acquisance, allotment or appointment;

2.      By gift;

3.      By purchase;

4.      By deed of gift; and,

5.      By inheritance.
